GrowLab - Software Defined Growing (SDG)

Live Episodes

EP1: Governing Environment

We are finally going to start our indoor growlab research environment to experiment with grow assistance, profiling and automation for any crop really. The best term to describe this project really is: Software Defined Growing (SDG). In order to keep the costs low and repeatability high we are using cheap off the shelf (COTS) components and will try to hack around in their controls to be able to control them via esphome, home-assistant and node-red to establish a full governing system to keep all environment parameters within the specified regions for the different stages of plant growth according to the profile we chose to run.
