Silicone & Molds

Building the picoJet involved working with silicone and creating a simple mold to create the bottom element, which provides the following features:

  • Embedded 100W heating Element
  • Embedded DS18S20 Temperature Sensor
  • Baffles to reduce the volume of liquid needed
  • Bearings/Holder for the Jet-Tubes

A small talk about how to easily make such molds with scrap wood and clay to get the desired features even with ghetto equipment.
